Hey, I'm Gypsy. I read your whole profile thing (yes, the whole thing), and we have a lot in common, besides the whole interests list thing, I mean. I love your taste in music. :) John Mayer rocks.
You seem really neat. Can I add you?

I saw your profile (and the comment you left on surveys community) and see that you're a big fan of John Mayer. I think that's great.
And on another note, you seem pretty cool.

Hey random sorry

This is in regards to your question about what to do in Monterey, CA...if you drive north about 30 minutes there is the town of Santa Cruz and they have a fun old timey board walk and a big wharf you can walk out on and at the end of the wharf there are always sea lions in the water and laying on the beams under the wharf as well as normally there being lots of sea otters swimming around. If you look out across the bay you'll see a light house and there is a little park there and the surf break underneath it is called Steamer's Lane and is a famous surf spot. If you go to downtown there are lots of cool music shops and good food like Pizza My Heart (a big slice of pizza and a souvenir tshirt for $5) or Saturn Cafe is a funky diner that serves all vegetarian food but you would never know that it's vegetarian. They make it seem like you are eating real spaghetti and meat balls or corn dogs or whatever. They've got different burgers and nachos and soups and sandwiches and stuff and really good dessert and pitchers of local beers. The University sits just above the town and there are often deer and golden eagles to be seen. If you head out to the soccer field you can look out all across the bay back to Monterey. Anyway, if you can't get anywhere outside of Monterey, there is a big outdoor mall there to hit up for shopping and your typical chain restaurants (plus one's like Islands that I think are only in CA?) The aquarium really is worth it, it's world class and you can probably find coups online for it, as well as probably offering student and military discounts. Pacific Grove is just outside of Monterey and there are some cool Victorian houses there and it's where the Grapes of Wrath with James Dean was filmed. Drive through Carmel to the start of Big Sur and there are some spectacular view points or do a drive of that for an hour or two and there are more amazing view points as well as bridges over where the mountains and ocean meet. The way the mountains just drop in to the see is incredible. I just did that drive a few months ago and was blown away by the scenery. Hope this helps! Signed, A local girl
